A volunteer
Nowadays,an increasing number of people are willing to serve as volunteers,Because they consider that volunteering is not only a great contribution to our society and those who are in need,but also it is about my own personal improvement.
Last weekend,as a number of volunteers,I needed to get up early because it would take me a lot of time on the road,my friends and I brought some flowers and fresh fruit like apples.As we arrived at the Happiness Nursing Home,we sent them our best wishes,the old people were very happy to hear our blessing.Some of us performed activities,such as singing and dancing,many old people also took part in it.As a result,the whole yard was full of joy.
From this meaningful activity,I’ve learned a lot.On the one hand,helping others is a good way to make you feel happy,when you help others solve problems successfully,your heart is filled with happiness.We can also take this chance to learn and grow.On the other hand,the volunteers’contribution has a great influence on society.
In general,volunteering is great and selfless.So let us enjoy the time when we are as a volunteer.
