Sunday, December 13th Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. Every family has its own family rules, good family rules help the growth of children and the harmony(和睦) of the family. However, I think there are some rules that are not reasonable(合理).
One of my family rules is that it’s not allowed for me to watch TV. My parents believe that it is bad for my study, but I don’t think so. In my opinion, the TV can be used well if my family and I make an effort.
First of all, not all TV programs are not good for students. For example, sports programs can not only cheer me up, but also give me the force to beat the trouble we meet. Next, on the one hand, we are supposed to study hard, on the other hand, we need to relax sometimes instead of studying all the time. A saying says, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Watching TV is just one of the ways to relax. What’s more, while watching TV with parents, we’re able to have an opportunity to communicate better with them.
In short, I’m sure that I should be allowed to watch educational TV programs in my spare time. As long as we run this rule well, I’m going to become better and better!
